My brother got in trouble at school today

He had to write a script for his drama class, and in it he made two of his characters gay

He got in trouble for having ‘inappropriate themes’ in his script and was told to remove the pairing

He thought that was rubbish, because pretty much every other script had a hetero couple in it, so he argued with his teacher about why the other kids got to have couples in theirs, but he wasn’t allowed

His teacher said it ‘just wasn’t appropriate’ and suggested he change one of the characters to a female 

And my brother responded ‘How is it any different if it’s a boy and a girl, or a boy and a boy, or a girl and a girl? Why can’t I just have two characters who are in love?’ 

His teacher couldn’t answer him 

And so Alexander is continuing with his script
